Dr. Edward Carriere is a board-certified internist with over three decades of experience in healthcare, specializing in integrative and functional medicine. A Louisiana native, he earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1990. His passion for root-cause-focused care led him to complete a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona under Dr. Andrew Weil in 2016. Dr. Carriere combines conventional and complementary therapies to create personalized treatment plans, emphasizing lifestyle medicine, autoimmune support, and chronic disease management. He is based in Buena Vista, Colorado, where he lives with his family, enjoying mountain biking, hiking, and snowboarding.
