Biography

Originally from a small town in rural Iowa, Josh brings over a decade of elite-level performance and operations expertise to Resilience Code. After earning his degree in Exercise Science and Athletic Training from Iowa State University, Josh began his career with the Denver Broncos, where he spent 10 years on the medical team—first as a seasonal intern, then as a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer. During this time, he completed his MBA from Aspen University, blending his clinical background with advanced business strategy.

In 2016, Josh transitioned from the NFL to join Resilience Code as Chief Operating Officer. He now leads the organization’s day-to-day operations, driving alignment across clinical, technological, and client-facing departments. With a deep understanding of high-performance systems and multidisciplinary collaboration, Josh plays a pivotal role in transforming Resilience Code’s vision into operational excellence.

His leadership ensures that every touchpoint—from client experience to backend infrastructure—reflects the company’s mission of personalized, cutting-edge health optimization. Josh’s ability to connect science with strategy makes him a key architect in scaling innovation at Resilience Code.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three children. He also gives back to his community as a youth football and wrestling coach.

Role at RC

As Chief Operating Officer at Resilience Code, Josh leads the strategic and operational execution across all facets of the organization. He oversees daily operations within the multidisciplinary medical and performance facility, ensuring seamless integration across clinical services, performance departments, and client experience. Josh provides direct leadership to departmental heads, manages vendor partnerships, and serves as the internal point of contact for human resources, payroll, and benefits administration. With a focus on financial stewardship, he also plays a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, and aligning operational performance with long-term business objectives.
