Biography
Sally Crawford, originally from the Boston area, graduated from the University of Rochester with a BS in Biomedical Engineering, concentrating in Biomechanics. She pursued further education, earning a Master’s Degree in Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering, excelling in the integration of engineering with human physiology. Her dissertation was published by notable organizations, including Northeastern BMES, IEEE, and RESNA, and she has since presented at numerous national and international conferences.
Sally’s professional journey includes significant contributions at Noraxon USA (2010–2016) and Zebris Medical GmbH (2013–2016), where she led sales and business development for biomechanical solutions—including EMG, 2D and 3D motion analysis, and high-density pressure sensor integration. She pioneered the adoption of advanced motion-capture tools and software, enhancing podiatric and rehabilitation assessments. Sally delivered comprehensive training and developed software solutions that empowered clinicians and researchers, and her partnerships with academic and clinical institutions helped place Noraxon’s technologies in thousands of publications.
In 2016 she moved to Denver to collaborate with Dr. Prusmack in developing Resilience Code and its advanced biomechanical and technological infrastructure. She continues to author influential articles in Podiatry Management and Lower Extremity Review, highlighting the impact of these technologies on diagnostics and patient outcomes.
Passionate about staying current with technology, literature, biomechanics, human-movement diagnostics, research, and integration, Sally is also an avid runner—embodying the very principle of resilience that guides both her professional and personal philosophy.
